Effects Lab
A WebGL2 particle system built from scratch — no three.js, no dependencies. 62,500 GPU particles morph between nine shapes as you scroll, then get printed through a rotated Bayer screen in two inks.
Every parameter in the panel is live. Change the palette, coarsen the screen, slow the morph — then copy the whole thing out as JSON.
01 · orb
Energy orb
A rim-lit shell with streams falling inward, each on its own clock.
02 · clarity
Clarity flow
Chaos resolving into a single line. Your cursor works as a magnet.
03 · musical
Musical
Twelve harmonics — sin(n·x)/n — each one living in its own plane.
04 · dna
DNA
The same weave resolved into a double helix. Longer means more rungs, not longer ones.
05 · cymatics
Cymatics
Chladni figures on a circular plate. A new note every five seconds.
06 · waveform
Waveform
A band of sound at rest. Click anywhere to make it speak.
07 · freeFlow
Free flow
A procedural flow field, integrated three times per particle. Your cursor adds vorticity.
08 · ripples
Ripples
Still water. Click to drop a stone — up to three impacts at once.
09 · void
Void
A continuous fall toward the hole. Speed comes from the same curve as position.
10 · void
Grain cloud
A separate layer: a photograph rebuilt out of grains, under the same screen.
